Real truth can feel confusing, especially for teens these days. In Peake Youth, we invite students to build their lives on the foundation of the only Truth, Jesus Christ.
We’re committed to providing a place for Middle and High School students to connect with God, with other students, and with their leaders who are dedicated to helping students grow closer to Jesus. Everyone wants to belong to something, and Peake Youth centers around relationships with one another, with caring mentors and with God. We believe that living life to the full is a life fully devoted to Jesus Christ.

JOURNEY NIGHTS
Whether you’re exploring what it means to be a Christian or you’ve already made the decision to follow Jesus, we want to help you encounter God in a meaningful way. Journey Nights are our weekly service with games, teaching, small groups and lots of community time. When you come, bring a friend with you!

Join us for our Journey Game Nights on April 23 & 24! Bump, set, and spike in our volleyball tournament, play some lawn games with your friends, and join in on a project to make a craft that will benefit kids around the world!

A growing biblical community
SMALL GROUP LEADERS
Our small group leaders are critical to the life of our ministry! Our leaders build mentoring relationships with our teens that are safe, genuine, and lifelong. High School teens also have the opportunity to serve as teen leaders with our middle schoolers. This is a weekly commitment with a big impact for God’s Kingdom!

Common Questions
DO I NEED TO REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME?
No need to register ahead, simply check in at our Welcome Table when you arrive. If you would like to go ahead and register, click here.
WHAT IF MY TEEN IS AN INTROVERT?
We know stepping into a new group with lots of teens can be intimidating to some students. Our Welcome Team would love to help get your teen connected right away with their small group leader and a few new friends who can introduce them to our programs. We also offer tables in the back with art and adult coloring options as well as board games to play for a quieter entry point to Journey.
ARE THERE ANY WEEKS THAT JOURNEY DOESN'T MEET?

WHAT TRAINING DO PEAKE YOUTH LEADERS GO THROUGH?
Every Peake Youth Leader fills out an application and goes through our interview process. In addition, every leader and volunteer at Peake Youth goes through a routine background check.
WHAT DO I DO ONCE I DROP OFF MY TEEN?
If you need a little me-time, grab a coffee in the Lobby and read your favorite book in the comfy chairs right outside the Auditorium. If you’d like to learn more about the Bible or grow in your behavioral health or faith, Chesapeake Church offers various growth groups throughout the year, many of which meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during Journey.
