CARE MINISTRY

At Chesapeake Church, we believe that caring for one another is a natural expression of following Jesus. Scripture calls us to love, support, and carry one another’s burdens, reflecting the compassion Christ has shown to us.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Our Care Ministry exists to walk alongside people in different seasons of life—whether someone is experiencing hardship, celebrating a milestone, seeking prayer, or simply needing encouragement.

No one should have to walk through life alone.

Our heart is to provide care that reflects Christ-centered compassion, where you are met with confidentiality and trust, servant-hearted support, practical help, and biblical guidance—all within a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

No one should have to walk through life alone. Our prayer is that every person who comes to Chesapeake Church experiences the love, presence, and care of Christ through His people.

How We Care for People

From providing meals and assistance with needs that arise in difficult seasons to offering prayer, biblical guidance, and encouragement, we seek to reflect the love of Christ in tangible ways. We also walk with individuals and families through important milestones, offering care, wisdom, and support.

SUPPORT GROUPS

We want to provide you with the tools to move through seasons of hardship with God. Chesapeake Church hosts support groups for individuals walking through specific challenges or life situations. These groups provide a safe and encouraging environment for people to grow, heal, and connect with others. Groups focus on topics such as grief, divorce, addiction and more.
