Congregational Prayer of Confession
God, our loving and merciful Father, we have gone astray like lost sheep. We've followed our own desires and plans too much. We've broken your holy laws. We've failed to do the good we should have done, and we've done things we know we shouldn't. Please have mercy on us, forgive those who confess their faults, and restore those who repent of their sins. Based on your promises through Jesus Christ our Lord, grant us, most merciful Father, that from now on we may live in a way that is godly, just, and self-controlled, all for your glory.
