Isaac and the Birth of a Nation

Genesis 21:1-26:35 | Isaac is the child of promise that has repercussions for the future of world history, including the establishment of Israel as God's chosen nation.

Congregational Prayer of Repentance
Almighty and most merciful Father, we have sinned and strayed from Your ways like sheep, we have followed too much the plans and desires of our own hearts, we have committed offenses against Your holy laws, we have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done the things which we ought not to have done. But You, O Lord, have mercy upon us; You spare those who confess their sins and You restore those who are repentant according to Your promises declared to humanity in Jesus Christ our Lord; and grant, O merciful Father, for his sake, that we may live a godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory of Your holy Name. Amen.
