Where Will You Build?

Matthew 7:24-29 | Jesus finishes his Sermon on the Mount by instructing us that our lives will stand or fall based on what we build our lives on.

Congregational Prayer of Lent
O merciful Father, who in compassion for Your sinful children sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to be the Savior of the world: give us grace to recognize and mourn our part in the wrongs that made it necessary for Him to suffer and die for our salvation. Help us, through self-denial, prayer, and reflection, to ready our hearts for deeper repentance and a better life. And grant us a genuine desire to be free from sin, trusting in the deliverance accomplished by Jesus Christ our only Redeemer. Amen.
