CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER
Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Creator of all things and Judge of all people: we acknowledge and confess our many sins, which we have repeatedly and deeply committed through our thoughts, words, and actions against Your divine majesty. We are truly repentant and sincerely sorry for these wrongdoings; the memory of them weighs heavily on us. Have mercy on us; have mercy on us, most merciful Father, for the sake of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Forgive us for everything in our past, and grant that from now on we may serve and please You in a renewed life, to the honor and glory of Your name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
