Congregational Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Creator of everything and Judge of all: we admit and confess our many sins, which we have committed from time to time in thought, word, and deed, against your holy majesty. We sincerely repent and are deeply sorry for these wrongs; remembering them pains us. Have mercy on us, most compassionate Father, for the sake of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Forgive all that is past, and help us from now on to live and serve you with renewed hearts, to honor and glorify your name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
