Congregational Prayer for Easter
Almighty God, You brought our Lord Jesus Christ back from the dead-the glorious Prince of salvation-with an eternal victory over hell and the grave. We ask You to give us the power to rise with Him into a new way of living. Help us to overcome the world through the victory of our faith, so that we may eventually share in the resurrection of the righteous. We ask this through the merits of that same risen Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
