About Us

“If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.” Isaiah 58:10

When a person comes into the Food Pantry they receive more than a bag of groceries. Along with the needed food comes encouragement, partnership, life skills opportunities and accountability. In a word, relationship. It’s through relationship that people experience a life changing encounter and move from dependence to their highest level of self-sufficiency. Our success stories are when people don't need us anymore!

Need Help?

If you, or someone you know, are struggling to make ends meet, Food Pantry would like to partner with you to help you get back on your feet. If you have a need, you qualify to receive food! You won’t need your social security card or be required to prove your income status. Simply come in during pantry hours and a Welcome Team member will be happy to get you started.

Want to Make a Difference In Someone’s Life?

Volunteer with us! We have hundreds of volunteers serving in various ways and on various teams. Opportunities are available Tuesday through Saturday. Contact the Food Pantry at  foodpantry@chesapeakechurch.org for more information.
