We invite all Chesapeake attendees to join us for our fall Congregational Meeting on Tuesday, October 13, at 7PM in the Sanctuary! We’ll kick off the evening with a potluck at 5:30PM in the Reception Room (located in the Children’s Ministry wing), and we’d love for you to join us!

At the meeting, we will hear updates from our Elders on areas including the current members of the Session of Elders, the nomination process for Elders and Deacons, and an approach to potential changes in our Book of Church Order. We will also hear an update on the church’s 2026 budget and on our approach to our 2027 budget. Covenant Members will have the opportunity to nominate Elder candidates at the meeting and to vote on a proposed BOCO amendment updating the nomination process.
