Sermon Series: Rocks and Stones

As Jesus was entering Jerusalem on the day we call “Palm Sunday,” the crowds were proclaiming His Glory. When the Pharisees told Jesus to quiet His followers, Jesus responded by saying, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” As we celebrate Profession of Faith Baptisms, we acknowledge that our own hearts of stone become hearts of flesh as we cry out, “Jesus is Lord!”

Lame Man at the Pool of Bethesda

That simple question leads to not only a healing, but an act of defiance against the traditional Sabbath culture. Whenever Jesus' healing comes to us in unconventional ways - obedience is always at the core. This week we will learn how being obedient and going against the flow can heal not one person, but an entire family.
