The Book of the Ruth is one of the most beloved books in the Bible. It is always relevant and covers social and spiritual issues which are still timely today. It is story filled with strong women, Godly men and a surprise ending. This series is great summertime learning!

Christmas at Chesapeake
Jesus' birth wasn't announced to those we would have expected. The host of angels didn't come to the head priests or the leaders of the Jews; they appeared to lowly shepherds. God announced His Son's birth to the most unlikely people, showing His love for all of humanity, His desire for all to know Him. The star of Bethlehem reminds us that the Gospel isn't just for the religious, for the neat and tidy. The Good News of Jesus' birth, His death, and His resurrection is for all people.
