SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

Family Sunday

As we finish our Summer In The Psalms with Psalm 78, the author strongly emphasizes the need to pass down the Legacy of Christ to the next generation. This isn't just a nice thought; it's a serious call to action. The Psalmist urges us to make this our top priority and to be fully committed. There is nothing more important than teaching the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders.
