SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

Yet, Jesus' challenge to anyone who would choose to follow Him is that our simple "yes" or "no" be enough. That we would be known as a people of integrity. What would it take for us to revolutionize our words?
