SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

Revolutionary Peace

Matthew 6:25 - 34 - "... do not worry about your life..." In just six words, Jesus lays down the toughest challenge of all - to not worry about life. Jesus' point is that we were not designed for worry, but peace. And pursuing God's will for our lives it the path to revolutionary peace.
