SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

Philippians 4:1-9 | Paul urges us to stand firm in faith, be united, and always rejoice. He encourages us to let go of anxiety by bringing everything to God in prayer, trusting in His peace. Paul also reminds us to focus on what is good and live out what we've learned, knowing God's peace is with us.
