SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

PSALM 110

Although Psalm 110 may initially seem difficult to read, it looks ahead to the future, where King David points us to King Jesus. This Psalm bridges the Old Testament anticipation with the New Testament fulfillment in Christ.
