SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

PSALM 103

Worship doesn't always come easily. Sometimes we need to urge our very souls to remember just Who God is and what He's done. He is still merciful, gracious, and loving. He still forgives, heals, and redeems. So, let our souls join all of creation in bringing Him praise.
