SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

By Faith

At some point we must all bridge the gap between what we can see and understand and the longing in our souls that tells us there's more than meets the eye. Scripture is filled with people who trusted a God they could not see and took actions they didn't understand. What would lead people to live like that? How can we find ourselves walking in their footsteps?
