SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

Time

Time. The single most valuable resource. It’s not renewable, you can’t ever get it back, you can’t make more of it, and none of us really knows how much we’ll ever have. Yet, the hard truth is that we often design lives so full of distractions that we hijack our own time. And in the end it is not time that has been stolen from us, but our hearts.
