Sermon Series: Rocks and Stones

As Jesus was entering Jerusalem on the day we call “Palm Sunday,” the crowds were proclaiming His Glory. When the Pharisees told Jesus to quiet His followers, Jesus responded by saying, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” As we celebrate Profession of Faith Baptisms, we acknowledge that our own hearts of stone become hearts of flesh as we cry out, “Jesus is Lord!”

Philippians 3:1-11 | We're taught to be vigilant for things that can harm us. But what if the things that really harm us are the things we're told are good and worth spending our lives striving for? Things often seem backward under the Kingship of Jesus. What looks like loss may actually be our greatest gain.
