Sermon Series: Rocks and Stones

As Jesus was entering Jerusalem on the day we call “Palm Sunday,” the crowds were proclaiming His Glory. When the Pharisees told Jesus to quiet His followers, Jesus responded by saying, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” As we celebrate Profession of Faith Baptisms, we acknowledge that our own hearts of stone become hearts of flesh as we cry out, “Jesus is Lord!”

For many of us, parenting and our jobs can feel vain and monotonous. It's the same routine every day over and over, and for what?! But the new world which Jesus has ushered in changes the meaning of daily lives, especially the home and the workplace. Here is where the reality of the Kingdom of God should be most on display to one another and to a non-believing world.
