Sermon Series: Rocks and Stones

As Jesus was entering Jerusalem on the day we call “Palm Sunday,” the crowds were proclaiming His Glory. When the Pharisees told Jesus to quiet His followers, Jesus responded by saying, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” As we celebrate Profession of Faith Baptisms, we acknowledge that our own hearts of stone become hearts of flesh as we cry out, “Jesus is Lord!”

Follow the Blood Line

The Book of Ruth concludes with perhaps one of the most surprising and astounding endings found in any story. The story literally encompasses and predicts the entire Gospel - a thousand years before it would even happen. In Boaz we see the result of the transformational grace of Jesus in our own lives but also in the way He seeks to build His Kingdom through us. Do not miss this!
