Sermon Series: Rocks and Stones

As Jesus was entering Jerusalem on the day we call “Palm Sunday,” the crowds were proclaiming His Glory. When the Pharisees told Jesus to quiet His followers, Jesus responded by saying, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” As we celebrate Profession of Faith Baptisms, we acknowledge that our own hearts of stone become hearts of flesh as we cry out, “Jesus is Lord!”

Obedience is a Struggle

Obedience is a word that is hard to swallow in our culture. There are so many negative connotations associated with it, yet, in the Kingdom of God it is something we must strive for every day. This week, we take a look at why trusting Jesus and living a life of obedience takes faith and courage in the face of a world that focuses on our insecurities and doubts.
