Time has revealed more confusion and disagreement about the person of Jesus than can be charted. How can it possibly be that a community of people would worship and believe in a King Who was shamefully crucified? Might there be more to this Man and to the Kingdom He said He was bringing? Who is Jesus?

For some this season of joy is more like a season of dread, loneliness, and doubt. But the season of advent reminds us that our joy in Christ is not tied to our circumstances, but rather to His promises and the coming of His Kingdom.
