Jesus was killed in one of the cruelest, most brutal forms of execution imaginable. Yet at the time, His execution was somewhat unremarkable. So much so that common criminals were nailed to crosses of their own on either side of Jesus – common criminals with similar records, but two very different encounters with Jesus.
