Family Sunday

When the disciples didn’t consider children worthy of Jesus’ time and attention He sharply rebuked them and personally invited the children to come to Him. Jesus makes that same invitation every single day to every single child! As a church family, therefore, we want to create intentional times to invite all our children into corporate worship and celebrate, all together, how by His grace Chesapeake Church is a family of families of all shapes and sizes!

PSALM 144

Is living in prosperity and blessing attainable, as David describes in his psalm? And if so, how do we get there? Psalm 144 leads us through David's prayer life. He worships and praises God before he makes his requests known. He remembers God's past goodness before the victory is handed to him. He trusts God's character. God wants us to prosper, to be victorious; but we must be willing to make him first place in our lives, which requires our trust, belief and surrender. Are we willing?
