Sometimes in relationships, whether it be due to exhaustion, hurt, or just apathy, we find ourselves just going through the motions. We’re here, without actually being here. Church can be just the same way, where we’re in the routine, but not actually committed with all our mind, strength, soul, and body. Where do we need to be as Chesapeake Church? Humility
Hebrews 4:12 | Many of us hesitate to label ourselves as proud, perhaps because we often focus on the obvious traits of pride, overlooking its more subtle aspects. The Bible says God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble. How, then, do we humble ourselves, securing this place under God's grace? This week, we'll explore - or be reminded of - the transformative power of God's Word to do this good work within us, if we open ourselves to it.
