Are You Here?
Sometimes in relationships, whether it be due to exhaustion, hurt, or just apathy, we find ourselves just going through the motions. We’re here, without actually being here. Church can be just the same way, where we’re in the routine, but not actually committed with all our mind, strength, soul, and body. Where do we need to be as Chesapeake Church? PSALM 144
Is living in prosperity and blessing attainable, as David describes in his psalm? And if so, how do we get there? Psalm 144 leads us through David's prayer life. He worships and praises God before he makes his requests known. He remembers God's past goodness before the victory is handed to him. He trusts God's character. God wants us to prosper, to be victorious; but we must be willing to make him first place in our lives, which requires our trust, belief and surrender. Are we willing?
