Sometimes in relationships, whether it be due to exhaustion, hurt, or just apathy, we find ourselves just going through the motions. We’re here, without actually being here. Church can be just the same way, where we’re in the routine, but not actually committed with all our mind, strength, soul, and body. Where do we need to be as Chesapeake Church? Revolutionary Motive
Matthew 6:1 -18 - We all know people who love to brag about their generosity, prayer life, and overall spiritual maturity. But Jesus said such boasting isn't anything more than a selfish desire for recognition. Perhaps even worse - Jesus thought that such people have already received all the reward they're going to get. This week, it's time for all of us to check our motive.
