Sometimes in relationships, whether it be due to exhaustion, hurt, or just apathy, we find ourselves just going through the motions. We’re here, without actually being here. Church can be just the same way, where we’re in the routine, but not actually committed with all our mind, strength, soul, and body. Where do we need to be as Chesapeake Church? A CHURCH THAT IS COMPLACENT
Revelation 3:14-22 | Having a large amount of gifts and talents in a church is a huge asset in advancing the Gospel. But sometimes we can allow those things to make us self-sufficient, self-involved, and comfortable right where we are. Our issue becomes losing sight of our calling, just preserving what we have, and ceasing to be a source of refreshment and healing to those around us. Will we receive the loving correction of our Savior or remain complacent?
