ADVENT
In the Christian tradition, Advent is a time of the year where, as Christmas nears, we take time for self-reflection and repentance. We think of Jesus’ promise to one day return and consummate His Kingdom and we ask ourselves, “Are we ready?”. Only, then, in prayer and the study of God’s Word do we find hope, faith, joy, and peace as we celebrate and look forward to the second coming.

EASTER AT CHESAPEAKE
Ecclesiastes 2:1-11 | What's the point of life? What's the point of this world? If one day we're just all going to die, what about all this stuff we have around us? Is it really all about eating, drinking, and being merry or is life just about trying to one day make it to heaven? Jesus' full bodily resurrection proves to us, though, that God loves this world and has amazing plans for us not only for the future but for today as well!
