ADVENT
In the Christian tradition, Advent is a time of the year where, as Christmas nears, we take time for self-reflection and repentance. We think of Jesus’ promise to one day return and consummate His Kingdom and we ask ourselves, “Are we ready?”. Only, then, in prayer and the study of God’s Word do we find hope, faith, joy, and peace as we celebrate and look forward to the second coming.

FINDING JOY IN HIS COMING
Luke 3:7-18 - It's the most wonderful time of the year where we're all supposed to feel joyful, merry, and bright. What is JOY, though, and from where does it come? And what does thinking about the salvation and judgment of God have to do with any of it? Or with Christmas? It turns out that when we fix our eyes on the right things and prioritize the things of God in our lives we might just get a little joyful as a result.
