Firewood For Families

Costs are up, especially for heating and electricity, making it harder for our neighbors to stay warm during the winter. Each year by sawing, splitting, and delivering FREE firewood, we have the opportunity to bless them, and share the love of Jesus Christ.

Come spend this morning of community together as we serve our neighbors in need with the warmth of Christ’s love. As always, we ensure you are well fed during the event!

When registering to serve, please let us know if you have a log splitter or chainsaw you can bring and operate, or if you have a truck or trailer that can be used as a delivery vehicle. Each delivery vehicle will typically make two firewood drop-offs during the event.

Safety is important! Please review all SAFETY NOTICES on our Serve Form and complete the required Digital Liability Waiver during registration. For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver.

This day is a great way for families to serve together, and if you have kids that are too young to serve, you can sign up for free childcare when you register to serve.

Summit Men is the Men’s Ministry of Chesapeake Church. Our mission is to glorify God by being the hands and feet of Jesus in our homes, our church, and the communities He calls us to serve.
