BY FAITH

At some point we must all bridge the gap between what we can see and understand and the longing in our souls that tells us there’s more than meets the eye. Scripture is filled with people who trusted a God they could not see and took actions they didn’t understand. What would lead people to live like that? How can we find ourselves walking in their footsteps?

PSALM 144

Is living in prosperity and blessing attainable, as David describes in his psalm? And if so, how do we get there? Psalm 144 leads us through David's prayer life. He worships and praises God before he makes his requests known. He remembers God's past goodness before the victory is handed to him. He trusts God's character. God wants us to prosper, to be victorious; but we must be willing to make him first place in our lives, which requires our trust, belief and surrender. Are we willing?
