Grounded Healing
As Peter continues to encourage these persecuted exiles, he reminds them that while all people will suffer in life, devoted Christ followers never suffer in vain. For in the same way we are healed by Christ’s wounds, our own lack of vengeance – especially in response to unjust persecution - becomes both a witness and declaration of the eternal healing of the cross.
