SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

Humility

Hebrews 4:12 | Many of us hesitate to label ourselves as proud, perhaps because we often focus on the obvious traits of pride, overlooking its more subtle aspects. This week, we'll explore - or be reminded of - the transformative power of God's Word to do this good work within us, if we open ourselves to it.
