SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

GOOD FRIDAY

Matthew 27:45-46 | As God created the heavens and the earth by speaking light into darkness, humanity's sin and rebellion invited the darkness back in. In the cross, then, Jesus would take that darkness upon Himself in order to defeat death in His Own death.
