SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

The Psalms have been called “the prayer book of the Bible.” We remember that Jesus died on the cross with a psalm on His lips, a prayer to His Father on behalf of a sinful and rebellious world. The Psalms not only, then, speak to the character and will of God, but also teach us how to commune with Him, talk with Him, and, most importantly, listen to Him in the varied circumstances of our lives.

The Clap Back of Jesus

It can be easy for one to get caught up in titles, positions, or things that seemingly give us value, worth, or validation. No matter whether you are a layperson or a leader, it is critical that we are clear about who we are and Whose we are. We will explore the Heart of the Matter as we examine our passage and what drives us to do what we do.
