Then What About The Poor? (& Communion)

When Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me," was He being insensitive towards the poor? If God is for us, then why do children go hungry and people not have homes? This weekend we will have a very special one-on-one interview with Pastor Jim Strietelmeier - a man who devoted himself to the ministry of poverty.

From Series: "If God Be For Us"

God is always working in the hearts and lives of His people. He is always working for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Even in the midst of challenging times – seasons of change and growth, we can rest in that truth. For nothing – not death, nor life, nor angels, nor the present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing – will be able to separate us from the love of God, Christ Jesus our Lord. If God be for us, who can be against us?
