Friday, November 8 through Monday, November 11, our teens and their leaders will be traveling to Black Rock Retreat Center in Pennsylvania for a life-impacting weekend. Your teen’s Peake Youth leaders are already hard at work planning a fun and safe weekend of building relationships and growing closer to Christ.

The teaching theme for the weekend is John chapter 21 - a passage of scripture often referred to as Peter’s Reinstatement.

The apostle Peter has spent three years following Jesus throughout His earthly ministry. And then in the final hours leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion, Peter, one of Jesus’ closest friends, denied even knowing Him. Three times. What’s more, after Jesus' death and burial, Peter returned to his old way of life as fisherman.

But it didn’t end there. After His resurrection, Jesus found Peter, and once again invited him to follow. Three times. And in that dramatic moment, Peter was reinstated by Christ and repurposed for Christ.

Over the weekend, we’ll learn about how Christ reinstates us for Him and His Kingdom purpose.

Please carefully read the details below to help you prepare successfully for this fast-approaching weekend.
