Chesapeake Cares Food Pantry served 623 families (7 were new), equaling 1362 people receiving support. A total of 131 volunteers served for 349 hours, distributing 16,643 pounds of food and household items to people in need.



Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or new to the sport, the End Hunger Bike Ride has a route for everyone! The ride is on Saturday April 25th from 7 AM - 3 PM and starts and ends at Chesapeake Church. Once you finish, everyone will eat, hangout and celebrate at the Post-Ride Party! Volunteers are needed and specifically needed on our Traffic Safety, Check-In & Registration, and Hospitality Teams. All proceeds from the Bike Ride will continue to feed the hungry in our community. If your family has attended Chesapeake for 6 months or less, this is the event for you! Join us for Chesapeake Meet & Greet on Saturday, March 21 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM, for dinner, games and fun while meeting other new families, as well as ministry leaders, staff and elders. Looking for an easy one-time serving opportunity? Do you enjoy yard work? Join us March 28 from 8 AM - 12 PM for a fun day of projects and spruce up as we prepare our campus for the spring season and Easter. Led by our Summit Men, Campus Prep Day is a great first-time serving opportunity for anyone. It is also a fantastic way to meet others in the church. Visit for more information.


Join us Friday, March 27, through Sunday, March 29, as our teens and their leaders travel to Black Rock Retreat Center in Pennsylvania for a life-impacting weekend of building relationships and growing closer to Christ. The weekend will include Biblical teachings, time with their small group, chill hangout time, Glow Dodge Ball – and NEW this year – Laser Tag and the Zipline!!
