The S’mores Food Truck will be on campus making gourmet s’mores you can purchase! These aren’t just your normal s’mores—you can add toppings such as oreos, caramel, peanut butter cups, marshmallow fluff, bacon, whipped cream, and more!

The showing of the Family Camp begins at 8P. Family Camp is a faith-based family comedy about two polar-opposite families who are forced to camp together as they compete for the coveted camp trophy.
This FREE event is open to the entire community, you do not have to attend Chesapeake to attend Family Movie Night.

Family Movie Night is an easy invitation! We all know a family who could use a FREE night out as a family. Invite someone you know and let’s show them what life in a biblical community can look like for them!

More About Family Camp

For Tommy Ackerman, church is a great place to be on Sunday mornings … if he can get his latest work deal closed on the back nine before the service ends. But when their pastor encourages the congregation to sign up for a week away at family camp, his wife Grace believes she’s found the perfect cure for her imperfect clan—even if they’d all rather be anywhere but at rustic Camp Katokwah.
Enter the Sanders clan. Dr. Eddie is a harmonica-playing chiropractor who sees himself as a Miyagi-like mentor for anyone who is not as spiritual as he is … which is pretty much everyone! Soon, Tommy and Eddie are engaged in hilarious top-this battles instead of being focused on their families who desperately need them.

When all appears lost, Tommy and Eddie end up in the deep forest while hiking, truly lost. As everyone at camp desperately searches, the dads are forced to work together to discover a new direction if they hope to find their way back.

A Growing Biblical Community

At Chesapeake, we believe involvement is connection. As you participate in an event or serve in one of our ministries, you’ll naturally meet new people and build relationships. And once you start making connections, Chesapeake begins to feel like home and a place where you and your family can do life as together we grow as fully devoted followers of Jesus!

And remember, Family Movie Night is an easy invitation. We all know someone who could benefit from a fun night out and we can show them a beautiful picture of what being part of a Biblical Community can look like for them and their family.
