Congregational Care

Our Congregational Care team serves the Chesapeake community by providing short-term care and comfort and assistance to those in the community who are in need.

Our Congregational Care team is ready to serve our community. If someone is in need of a hospital visit, a home visit, or desires to have someone pray with them our team is available. Should you or a loved one experience a traumatic life event like hospitalization, the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, etc. and desire care we are available to serve, care, and comfort you through the difficult time. We also assist those in our community who have had a loss and need support at the visitation services, viewings, or funerals. Our care providers are not mental health professionals.

Our team works closely with our Elders to provide Communion to those in our community who are not able to get to church because of health issues.

Should you desire prayer or need to share a burden with someone our Congregational Care team is here to serve you. Please submit a prayer request online and our team will spend time praying for you. Our Prayer Team is also available every Saturday evening and Sunday morning to pray for our community and those in need.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2
