The Care Center is OPEN and ready to help our Chesapeake Community with their anxieties and concerns surrounding COVID-19. At this time, we are following Governor Hogan's direction and keeping Care Center clients/visitors to less than 10 people at all times.
Whether you'd like to talk with someone, or send in a prayer request, we're here for you!
Care Center Hotline
If you need someone to talk to and you're unable to reach us at our primary number, 410-257-3431, please call our Care Center Hotline at 410-474-1814 and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
SEND US A PRAYER REQUEST
- Every prayer request you send to chesapeakechurch.org/prayer will be answered either via email or phone call. The link already prompts you to leave contact information for whatever method of contact you prefer.
- All prayer requests are sent to a dedicated team of individuals who love to pray for others. Sometimes the very act of writing down a concern can be helpful - and there is no concern or need that is too small or insignificant for our Prayer Team.
INDIVIDUAL PASTORAL COUNSELING
Families and individuals in our Chesapeake Church community are also welcome to make an appointment to speak with a pastoral counselor by calling 410-257-3431. We are prepared to hold appointments in person or by telephone.
OUR MISSION & VISION
Mission: Caring, Counseling, and Mentoring the Community Through Christ-Honoring Pastoral Care
Vision: A Biblical Community Helping People Heal and Grow in the Love of Christ
Carry each other's burdens,
and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Our Congregational Care Team is ready to care, counsel and mentor individuals and families in our Chesapeake community who are experiencing transitions, hard decisions, and difficult circumstances.
Our role as Pastoral Counselors and Care Providers is to help people find their way, or way back, to the healing which God has provided. We rely on the truth of the Scriptures, the power of prayer, and the intervention of the Holy Spirit to bring families and individuals through their circumstances to a healthier life.
Our Care Support
We offer individual pastoral counseling, family counseling, support groups, funeral assistance, and couples mentoring.
The Congregational Care Team also works closely with the Elders to provide home and hospital visits and communion to those who are unable to attend church services for health reasons.
In addition to these services, our team also includes dedicated volunteers who are committed to praying for you and your family. If you would like to share a prayer request or praise with us, you may do so here.
