peake youth summer chill nights

Our Summer Chill Nights are packed with games, meeting new and old friends, eating snacks and soaking up the summer. Middle School Chill Night will meet THIS Tuesday, July 17, on campus at Summit Park from 7 - 8:30 PM. High School Chill Night will meet THIS Wednesday, July 18, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at 4205 Chaneyville Road in Owings. middle & high school journey - small group leaders

Our Group Leaders lead a group of middle or high school youth to discuss Journey curriculum as well as challenge each other to grow and care for one another. These groups, divided by age and gender, meet every Tuesday/Wednesday night during the Journey program at Chesapeake Church. Join us in reaching middle and high schoolers and helping them grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We are hosting our July New Family Mixer event on Thursday, July 26, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. If you’re new or began attending Chesapeake Church in the last six months, this event is for you. Come on out and meet other new families, enjoy hot dogs, summer salads, snow cones, corn hole, frisbee, bubble fields and other fun yard games. Live Music at the lobby

Chesapeake’s own Dana + Jeremy will play at The Lobby Coffee Bar on Monday, July 23. Music starts at 6 PM with a full dinner menu available. Weather permitting, we will be on The Patio. This is a great event to which you can invite your friends. All proceeds benefit End Hunger In Calvert County and Honduras Compassion Partners.

this week at our food pantry

This week, our Food Pantry served 612 families (9 of those were new), which translates into 1,322 people receiving support. A total of 134 volunteers served for 346 hours, distributing 15,080 pounds of product to people in need.
