The Food Pantry takes seriously our responsibility to steward the finances and goods that are donated to the Pantry. By pooling our donated resources through the Virtual Food Drive, and buying food in bulk, we can take advantage of discounts. This allows us to stretch our resources even further.

Instilling in our children the value and joy of giving is best done by taking them to the grocery store and having them choose the items to donate. The Virtual Food Drive is not intended to take the place of that experience.

Consistency of items is important. When clients know what they will be receiving from the Pantry, it allows them to better spend the dollars they do have when shopping at local grocery stores. That is why we have listed specific items for purchase.
