Learning is a key ingredient in missions. Through sermons during weekend services, evening classes, and learning opportunities for small groups & ministry teams, we will continue to grow in our understanding of God's work throughout the world and how we can join Him.
Developing practical skills helps us be as effective as possible as we engage in God's mission. Through short-term team preparation and other various training opportunities, the missions ministry team provides practical skills training such as how to write your testimony, how to share the Gospel, and an introduction to speaking Spanish.

Chesapeake Sending Program
Although still in it's development, our desire is to help members of our congregation to discern a calling into full-time mission work, equip them for that service, and send them into the mission field as Chesapeake missionaries.
For more information about how to be involved in missions at Chesapeake, please contact our Missions Pastor, Mark Howard, at email@example.com.
